Gotham's Guardians

We are looking for at least 100 people to pledge $10 a month to allow us to continue leasing our meet and greet and adoption center in Greenwich, NY.

Having this space is vital to our mission and as a 501(c)3, your donation is tax deductible.

Why is this facility so important?

It allows us to create a cozy, functional, comfort zone for all our kitties and mommas to live until their forever family finds them.

We have a wonderful meet and greet space where whole families feel at home. They can sit and take time to find just the right match for their family.

The location is in the heart of the picturesque and community-oriented Greenwich village.

We are able to have volunteer positions for anyone who has the time and desire to help us on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.

How do I contribute?

Facebook makes setting up a monthly payment to us very easy. On our FB page you click on the donate button. When the donation box comes up, put in the pledged amount and choose "monthly". It's that simple. The link to our Facebook page is a red button at the bottom of each of our website pages. Give us a like while you are there!

If you don't "facebook", you can send a check each month directly to our administrative office. The address is available upon request.

What does your monthly donation go towards?

The first $1000 donated a month will go directly to the cost of the monthly lease for our facility.

Any amount over the initial $1000 goes directly into the cost of maintaining the facility and the care of our kittens - meaning food, litter, vet care, vaccinations, testing, frontline, KMR, Miracle Nipples, toys, play enclosures, cleaning products, etc.

What do you get in return?

You mean besides our undying gratitude and appreciation?

Okay. How about a private, invite only FB group?

On this group we post Guardian exclusive content like videos of our tiniest kittens playing, sleeping, eating, and just being adorable. We hold quarterly drawings to win GKR Guardian swag like T-shirts, mugs, hats, and the occasional Yeti custom made tumbler.

In addition to the private group, we will send you a bumper sticker to show off your GKR pride to the world!

Then at the end of the year we will mail out a complimentary calendar made up of many of the year’s most adorable kitten pictures.

But wait! There’s more.

Once our webcam enclosure is up and running, you will get a kitten cam membership where you can go and watch our babies play live.

Then...The Yarn Ball

A future goal for our rescue is to hold an annual masquerade ball! It will be a charity fundraising event and Guardians will receive one free admission.

We hope to host the first Yarn Ball in the last quarter of 2023. We would love for it to be sooner. Who knows what the future will bring!
